What we collect

• Account details — your email and a securely hashed password.
• Child profiles — first name (or nickname) and age, added by you.
• Check-ins and notes — the moments and reflections you choose to log.
• Usage signals — basic technical information so the app stays reliable.

What we never do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share children's information with advertisers.
• We never train public AI models on your private check-ins.

How AI is used

When you ask for a reflection, your check-in is sent securely to an AI provider to generate a response, and then discarded by that provider. Your data is not used to train their models.

Sharing with professionals

Sharing only happens when you create a sharing code and give it to someone you trust — a teacher, SENCO, therapist or CAMHS worker. You can stop sharing at any time. See Data & sharing for the full picture.

Your rights

• Ask for a copy of your data.
• Correct or delete anything inaccurate.
• Close your account and request full deletion.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by row-level security so one family's check-ins are never visible to another.
